The beach at Carpinteria, California. The image was taken at sunset at the end of the partial solar eclipse that occurred on 23rd October 2014 - we had been there for a few hours trying to get a capture in the strange light of the eclipse during the afternoon but everything looked quite flat. The sunset made up for it even though the eclipse had passed by then.
